WISE x Morgan Stanley: Career Exposure For Our Students
Empowering the next generation of leaders starts with listening to what they need and showing them what is possible.
WISE was proud to partner with Morgan Stanley once again for their Global Volunteer Month, delivering two impactful workshops in June to students from Pooi To Middle School and Yan Chai Hospital Wong Wha San Secondary School.
To maximize the value, we surveyed the students in advance to understand their expectations and questions. Using these insights, we designed an immersive experience that harnessed the role model effect, enabling students to interact directly and meaningfully with corporate professionals. This experience built actionable confidence through:
Inspiring Role Models: Guest speakers shared real-world career journeys, industry trends, and the vital importance of workplace self-care.
Interactive Games: Creating a high-energy environment for teamwork and collaboration.
Direct Staff Mentoring: Students asked questions and learned directly from Morgan Stanley team members from diverse backgrounds.
Thank you to our incredible guest speakers, Rivekie Ho (Executive Director, Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Asia, and Talent & Diversity Advisor for ISG) and Athens Lai (Chief Administrative Officer of APAC Investment Banking), for serving as phenomenal role models and sharing their invaluable insights.
Thank you to the entire Morgan Stanley volunteer team for your continued commitment to impacting the trajectory of Hong Kong's youth!
